Arranged Marriage
32F divorcee, are my chances in AM really that bad?
Divorced 2 yrs ago, no kids, short marriage that went wrong fast. Financially independent, own place, good job.
Started looking again and the proposals are either way older guys or men who treat "divorcee" like a discount tag. One literally asked why I should expect the same as a "fresh" girl.
I am not looking for perfect, just someone decent who sees me as a person. Is that genuinely rare for a divorced woman in AM or am I just unlucky so far? Would love to hear from people who have been here.

The first few months back felt exactly like this. It gets better once you stop taking the bad apples personally.
Put your priorities plainly in your profile. The respectful ones appreciate clarity, the creeps get filtered. Win win.
Independent, own place, good job, no kids. Thats a strong profile. The creeps messaging you are not your competition pool.
Divorced at 30, remarried a wonderful man last yr. Your chances are fine, you just have to filter harder through the junk.
As a guy I actively preferred meeting someone who had been married. Less drama, knows what she wants. You are not a hard sell.
Lots of good men are specifically open to divorced women because they want maturity over a "fresh" start. They exist, keep going.
The discount tag mindset says everything about THAT guy, nothing about you. Block and move on, you dont owe him a reply.
Keep your standards exactly where they are. Lowering them to be "realistic" is how good people end up unhappy again.
Quality over speed. One good match beats twenty mediocre chats. Your profile will find its people.
Dont settle out of tiredness. You left one wrong marriage already, you clearly know your worth. Hold that line.
Anyone who calls a woman a discount is telling you he wants to control, not partner. Fastest filter you will ever get.
The older guys and the discount hunters will always slide in first. Be ruthless with the delete button and wait for the right lot.
Rooting for you. Two yrs out and financially solid, you have already done the hard rebuild. The right person is coming.
Decent men who see you as a person are not rare, they are just slower to message because they are not desperate. Patience.
My sister remarried at 34, happiest she has ever been. Second time she picked for herself, not for society. Game changer.
OP, consider profiles of other divorced or widowed men your age. Often way more respectful and on the same page about expectations.
